Families Together Parent Center

Kansas’ federally designated Parent Training & Information Center (PTI) and Family-to-Family Health Information Center (F2F). They provide support to families and their children with disabilities, and special health care needs. Their Parent-to-Parent program matches parents who have experience raising a child with a disability with parents who need someone to listen, encourage, and support them.

National Family Association for DeafBlind (NAFDB)

The National Family Association for DeafBlind (NFADB) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that has served families with individuals who are DeafBlind since 1994. 

 

Originally started by and for families, NFADB has expanded to include any interested individuals, professionals, organizations, and agencies that wish to empower the voices of families with individuals who are DeafBlind. 

Helen Keller National Center- Great Plains

The Helen Keller National Center regional representative knows all about the programs and services that are available to DeafBlind individuals, their families and service providers in your state and beyond, and can help you find and access the ones that are right for you.

Whether you’re interested in learning about support services near your home, would like to take advantage of the technology available through the National Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Program or want to explore the possibility of training at our national headquarters, your regional representative is your link to all that HKNC has to offer ─ consultation, advocacy, assessment, training, referrals and more.

National Center on DeafBlindness (NCDB)- Families

The National Center on Deafblindness is part of a network of projects for children and youth who are deafblind (birth through 21) that includes state deafblind projects in every state, as well as Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, the Pacific Basin, and the Virgin Islands.
